Why GFP

Built from inside the institutions our clients already trust

Our team was built from the inside of the institutions our clients already trust — former private bank executives, licensed fund managers, corporate counsel, and family office principals across globally systemic banks and multinational family offices.

We do not operate a volume practice. Every engagement begins with due diligence — KYC, source-of-funds verification, and AML screening — before any advisory work begins, and every structure we design is built to hold up under regulatory scrutiny, not just under client pressure to move quickly.

About Us

Who We Are

Global Fund Portfolio was formed by professionals who spent their careers inside the institutions UHNW families and enterprise principals already rely on. We built GFP on a simple premise: that same caliber of judgment should be available independently, on the client's terms — not only from within a single bank's product shelf. We are not a retail advisory firm, and we do not try to be.

Former

Private Bank Executives

Investment, corporate, and retail banking within globally systemic institutions.

Licensed

Fund Managers

Portfolio construction and risk management, disciplined on both sides of the ledger.

In-House

Corporate Counsel

Focused on corporate finance and M&A, backed by a vetted jurisdictional network.

Practitioner

Family Office Principals

Experience from the client side of the table, not only the advisory side.

Mission

“To give UHNW individuals, family offices, and enterprise principals a single point of coordination for capital structuring, cross-border fund management, and offshore holding architecture — delivered with institutional discipline and complete regulatory integrity.”

Vision

“To be the advisory partner of choice for globally mobile capital — chosen for judgment and discretion rather than scale, and for the quality of outcomes rather than the volume of engagements.”

How We Engage

Every relationship begins with diligence

KYC

Know-Your-Customer

Full verification before any advisory relationship begins.

SOF

Source of Funds & Wealth

Documented at intake, not requested after the fact.

AML

AML & Sanctions Screening

The same standard we expect of the licensed institutions we work alongside.

Services

Two audiences, one standard

UHNWI Private Client Advisory

A coordinating advisory mandate for individuals and families whose financial affairs span multiple jurisdictions, entities, and asset classes — the layer above implementation.

  • Wealth structuring and succession planning coordination
  • Multi-jurisdictional entity and account architecture
  • Coordination between your bankers, counsel, and family office
  • Ongoing structure review as regulations and circumstances change

Cross-Border Fund Management

Portfolio management and fund structuring for clients holding, or intending to hold, assets across more than one regulatory regime.

  • Coordination with licensed fund managers for mandate design
  • Asset allocation aligned to jurisdictional and tax considerations
  • Ongoing oversight of offshore-domiciled fund vehicles

Offshore Holding Structure Design — Singapore & Labuan

Structuring and implementation of properly licensed, substantively compliant offshore holding architecture.

Singapore: Private holding companies, family office structures (including VCC frameworks where applicable), MAS-regulated banking coordination.

Labuan: Holding companies, trusts, and coordination with Labuan FSA-licensed fund managers and money brokers.

GFP does not itself hold client funds or act as an unlicensed deposit-taker or money broker. Our role is advisory and coordinating — we structure the entity, prepare the compliance file, and introduce clients to appropriately licensed institutions in each jurisdiction.
Professional Fee

Advisory & Structuring

Fixed or retainer-based, covering advisory scoping, structuring design, and compliance coordination — payable regardless of transaction outcome.

Success Fee

KPI-Linked Outcomes

Contingent on defined, measurable outcomes — capital raised and funded, structure licensed and operational, account opened and funded — disclosed and agreed in writing before engagement.

Our Approach

Regulatory Framework

GFP is the coordinating advisor across every regime we touch. Every account, fund, or structure is ultimately held and administered by an appropriately licensed institution in its home jurisdiction.

AMLC

Philippines

KYC, source-of-funds, and suspicious transaction monitoring for covered persons.

LFSA

Labuan, Malaysia

Coordination with Labuan FSA-licensed managers, brokers, and trust companies.

MFSA

Malta

Coordination with MFSA-licensed entities for any Malta-touching structure.

FATCA

FATCA / CRS

Full client classification and information-exchange compliance.

AML

Cross-Jurisdictional

Beneficial ownership, source-of-wealth, and PEP/sanctions screening at intake.
